Audiologists

Susan Clarke

Susan graduated from the University of Western Washington with an M.Aud degree (Master of Arts in Audiology), after which she began her career practising audiology at the Vancouver General Hospital. She enjoyed seven years at VGH before opening the Vancouver Hearing Centre. Her deepest passion remains working directly with patients of all ages who struggle with hearing loss, thoroughly enjoying the positive impact she often brings to each of their lives. Despite a very active caseload, Susan always makes every effort to end each consultation with a personal conversation, including the boundless benefits of maintaining physical and emotional fitness.

Hannah Linde

Hannah earned her MSc in Audiology at the university of British Columbia. She spent six years working in the NHS in England and a pediatric hospital in Ireland, before returning to Canada and taking up her position at Vancouver Hearing Centre. Hannah loves helping her patients optimize their hearing and keeping up with the latest in technology.

Rena Goldberg

Rena earned her Master of Science in Audiology at Dalhousie University in 2007 and has been in private practice for 14 years. She is a member of Speech and Audiology Canada and is certified with the CSHBC as a Registered Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Practitioner. She wears hearing aids herself and enjoys helping others navigate the world of amplification.

Charlene Chang

Charlene graduated from the University of British Columbia with a M.Sc. in Audiology in 2020 and has been with Vancouver Hearing Centre ever since. She conducted research on hidden hearing loss as part of her thesis. Charlene enjoys keeping up with the latest hearing aid technology and finding personalized solutions that fits each patient’s individual needs and lifestyle. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Tina Saiki

Tina graduated from the University of British Columbia with a M.Sc. in 1995. She is a member of Speech and Audiology Canada and is certified with the CSHBC as a Registered Audiologist and Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner and also holds a Certified Practice Certificate in Cerumen Management.

Tina previously worked over 18 years with a non-profit organization before joining the team at Vancouver Hearing Centre in 2022.

Terri

Terri is an avid tea lover and uses over 20lbs of tea leaves in a year. She adores rainy days, and in her spare time she loves to do absolutely nothing.

Client Services Coordinator

Cecilia

Cecilia has an extensive background in customer service. She started in the airline industry, then moved to the hotel industry where she got an opportunity to move to the UK and work for Hilton Hotels in Glasgow, Scotland. Cecilia enjoyed the years spent in Scotland and working for Hilton Hotel as it gave her the opportunity to travel all through Europe and Middle East.

Once back in Vancouver, Cecilia entered the health care industry as a Medical Office Assistant and moved up to clinic manager at a busy family Practice/walk-in clinic. Cecilia joined Vancouver Hearing Centre in June of 2017 as a Client services Coordinator. She enjoys getting to know our clients and strives to always provide good service. Apart from being fluent in English and Spanish, she also enjoys practicing her French and Italian with our clients. When Cecilia is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, salsa dancing and traveling to tropical destinations!

Our Services

Each member of the clinical team at the Vancouver Hearing Centre is an Audiologist. Audiologists specialize in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with disorders in hearing function. Audiologists hold a Master’s (M.S.) or Doctoral (Au.D. or Ph.D.) degree from an accredited university post-graduate program. Their academic and clinical training provides the foundation for patient management for people of all ages – from birth through adulthood. By virtue of their graduate education, professional certification and licensure, Audiologists are the most qualified professionals to perform hearing tests, refer patients for medical treatment and provide hearing rehabilitation services.
